Hello, I’m Alan Brooks.

I was a radiologist, until I took early retirement a few years ago. Now, I’m spending time researching and writing books (amongst other things). My first published book was ‘London At War’, in 2011.

Confusingly, there is at least one other Alan Brooks out there, writing books! Just to let you know, I am not the author of books on English counties or country crafts, children’s books, or West End Methodism. So don’t blame me.

I intend to keep up to date on this site with progress on my books, etc, so please feel free to drop in here from time to time to see how things are going.
